Apple Watch will be releasing next month at the Apple Stores across the globe. If you want to buy the Apple Watch but wondering how it will look good on your wrist and whether you should spend money on this smartwatch, you have now got a solution in your hand. With augmented reality, you will be able to visualize how an Apple Watch will look on your wrist. With AR Watch, an augmented reality app developed by Underside, a Belgian mobile app developer, you will now be able to try on different versions of the smartwatch.

AR Watch- How to Use It?
The AR Watch app can be used for your iPad, iPhone or other iOS devices. The app however is not available in the Apple App Store. You have to download the app from Underside’s site. If you are okay with the third party app, you just have to hit Trust on the dialogue box that appears. But be wary and install at your own risk.
There is also a PDF marker, which you have to download and print it out. You can open the app and place the printed cutout on your wrist. Point the camera of your mobile device on the marker and you will be able to see an Apple Watch on your wrist. You will be able to change the watch into different colors simply by tapping on your smartphone.
PS: The link that is provided for downloading the app, was not working when I tried. You can opt for the QR code that is given with the PDF marker.
Use a QR scanner like QR reader and scan the QR code which is provided at the bottom of the PDF. This will give you a prompt to install the app.
Apple Insider stated “Attaching a small, printable target to the wrist and then loading up the app will allow users to visualize different Apple Watch models. Tapping on the screen will cycle through different watch case and band color combinations.
Though the images are not perfect, they are a fairly close approximation and would likely suffice for those who are on the fence about purchasing a Watch based on its appearance. The renders do hover slightly over the wrist, but not enough to cause serious distortion.”
You will be able to see the Watch from different angles. You can toggle between the 42mm and 38 mm versions by tapping the icon on the screen. Tap elsewhere on the screen and you can change the color. You can also take a screenshot of the virtual watch on your wrist by simply tapping and holding on the screen.
The Apple Watch Sport model is the only one which you can view using the AR Watch app. So, you won’t be able to find out how an Apple Watch Edition will look on your wrist. Still, with this app, you will get a fair idea about its look and you can head to the stores with your mind in peace.
