If you love cycling, you will now find it even more invigorating, as augmented reality comes into play. IN SENTH, a startup based in Beijing, has developed augmented reality glasses called the SENTH IN1. The project is currently running a crowdfunding campaign in Indiegogo. With these AR glasses, you will be able to get varied information, without taking your eyes off the road. The first concept of these cycling glasses was developed in 2012. After developing four functional prototypes, the AR glass is ready for the use of consumers. How does the glass work? Read on to know about SENTH IN1 AR glasses.
Smart AR Glasses
These are smart glasses which provide information in your line of sight. Your visibility is not compromised at the least. The AR user interface is see-through and data is projected in front of your eyes. Your cycle’s handlebar will make your cycling experience even better with additional inputs. The SENTH IN1 controller can be set up on the handlebar. It is a Bluetooth thumb controller with a spherical touch panel and a center button. With this you can control what you want to see on your AR glasses.
A battery, a camera, a microphone, a manual touch controller and an audio output are attached to the right arm of the AR glasses. The best thing about these glasses is that, you can fold them up and store them in a small case when you are not using them.
How to Use SENTH IN1?
You can use SENTH IN1 in different ways. You can either use the button pad on your handlebar or the manual touch pad on the arm of your glass. When you are using the button pad, you can select options to be showed on your display by tapping or rolling your finder over them. With the manual touch pad, you can scroll through the menu by using a local controller that is integrated in the arm. You can also use the audio input to speak to the glasses. A series of programmed commands will help you in navigating and selecting the options you prefer.
