Butterfly is the newest flavor of Go N’Syde’s beverages which has been launched by Kevin Liles, the former CEO of Def Jam and founder of KWL Enterprises, in association with Mariah Carey. Just like other bottles of Go N’Syde, this bottle will also have an augmented reality integration platform. Users will be able to experience virtual entertainment with a mobile device and a bottle of Go N’Syde of the Butterfly flavor. Butterfly is now available in NY Metro area Duane Reade locations and in 7,500 Walgreens all across the world.

How to Experience the Virtual Entertainment?

Users need to download and open the Go N’Syde app and scan a bottle of Go N’Syde. They will then be able to get a behind-the-scene peep into the world of Mariah Carey- #NoFilter. They will be able to access an entertainment network that has been curated by the global superstar herself, allowing people to get a private experience which will blur the lines between culture, consumption, reality and entertainment.

The Collaboration

The launch of this collaboration will be done with a multi-million dollar promotion and commercial with the hit song ‘Thirsty’, from Mariah’s new and fourteenth studio album, Me. I am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse.

The partnership is a first of its kind and Kevin Liles and Mariah Carey will bring about a revolution in the consumer and entertainment marketplace. This will be done by providing a customized and innovative platform to the fans through which they can get unique access to revolutionary content in the form of augmented reality.

Walgreens customers will be able to feel the intersection of pop culture which they haven’t experienced ever before, that too affordably and easily through their favorite location in vicinity.

Regarding the partnership, Mariah Carey said “It’s easy to see why I’m ‘so obsessed’ with my new drink Butterfly.” She also added that “I never dreamed that I could have an interactive experience with my fans while drinking my own beverage! Liles is equally excited about this collaboration and said that “I am thrilled to partner with Mariah Carey as she embarks on this new journey as CEO of her own beverage and virtual network.” He added that “Mariah is an icon and one of the world’s most premiere artists, and with her Butterfly network, she is able to invite fans into her world like never before.”

So, fans can now just get hold of a Butterfly bottle of Go N’Syde and use their smartphone with the Go N’Syde app to get the full Mariah Carey experience.
